Re: [Paraview] include paths for building examples with superbuild
Hmm, it's tough for me to diagnose what's going on. I wonder if this was the same issue Hong was having with the Fortran adaptor stuff. It sounds like something is missing in the cross build. You can potentially fix it by going into $cross/paraview/src/paraview-build and running ccmake from their to reconfigure and then recompile in that directory. If I remember correctly, you may want to set the MPI_{C,CXX,Fortran}_LIBRARY. If that doesn't work you may want to consider setting the Fortran compiler as well if it's set to something reasonable. Note that this has the potential to wipe out all of your CMake cache though since CMake may think that the compiler has changed and it needs to regenerate all of the CMake info again. I'd go through Hong's emails and the responses to see what was done. Maybe sharing your CMakeCache.txt files from both the superbuild directory and the $cross/paraview/src/paraview-build directory would help figure out some issues. Re: [Paraview] include paths for building examples with superbuild
Hi Andy, Okay, I must not understand something about CMake then. I tried ParaView_DIR and it still can't find the header files. However, I found that if I go into the Adaptors directory I can build libPhastaAdaptor.a Do I need to be building my projects inside of the $cross/paraview/src tree? Re: [Paraview] include paths for building examples with superbuild
I would suggest just setting the ParaView path to /paraview/src/paraview-build. This of course assumes that you're executable is built with CMake such that it can get the include paths from there. If not, maybe someone else can chime in with how to build the paraviewsdk with superbuild.
