In 5.5.2 only Mac clients still have that specific failure so I was reluctant to suggest this as the cause. For mac a decent workaround is to use the 5.5.1 noospray client we've published. I think there were some issues with the server segfaulting if it didn't have OSPRay built into it and the Windows client connected to it. Can you check if this also happens with a non-windows client and if so perhaps ensure OSPRay gets built on the linux server side. Good Luck, --John.
