*Job Description   *

· Our Client, a large financial services firm located in Merrimack,
NH has an immediate need for an Oracle PL/SQL Data Engineer to join their
team on a 6 month contract.

· The Data Engineer will join an onshore/offshore data team to help
support the implementation of a new currency exchange platform.

· The engineer will write procedures to support data processing and
web services. They will also be responsible for workflow mapping in
Informatica.

· The Client has their own proprietary ETL framework, but
experience with Informatica or a similar ETL tool is required.



*Job Requirement*



· 6-9 years’ over all experience Oracle PL/SQL experience

· Solid experience in hands on development using PL/SQL

· Creating stored procedures and other DB objects

· Creating data access and data maintenance procedures needed in
support of feature delivery.

· Experience with data mapping and analyzing complex data flows

· *Experience with Informatica or similar ETL tools*

· Good written and verbal communication

- Must be very strong in ETL, BI, data warehouse, data virtualization

- Must be strong on SQL skills

- Beside Oracle and SQL, Sybase database is required



*Required:*

·   Technologies:  Oracle, SQL, Server, and Sybase databases.  Lots of
ETLs to go with it.  Strong querying and data validation capabilities.

·   COTS system, called Cassiopae.  We’re configuring and customizing
for client's use.

·   Person needs to work on site – will be working with multiple dev
teams.

·   Project is sort-of agile (not pure).

·   Upcoming release will add a new Book of Business, an Enterprise
Data Warehouse, and some BI.

·   Technical (ETL) tester skills

·   Strong SQL skills

·   Ability to use other tools to validate data and databases

·  Strong interpersonal skills to work with multiple other teams



*Desired:*

·UI skills are nice to have, but not essential.  Position is for an
individual tester – do not need a team lead.

·   May be involved with automation (UFT) later in project – this is a
nice-to-have skill.  Not a requirement if the candidate does not have
automation
