Thanks for the responses. Certainly sounds a lot easier to tune with accuracy than

That is incorrect. The C-Crane transmitter moves in 100KHz increments. If it
only move in 10KHz increments, it would take forever to get to any frequency.

I have a question about the ccrane transmitter. I understand it has a
couple of buttons on the top for changing frequency.

Do these move the frequency up and down in increments, say 100 KHz? Or, do
they change the frequency in smaller steps?

Many receivers these days seem to scan the fm band in 100 KHz steps or
something similar, so wondering how the transmitter gets centered on a
channel.

One problem with the Veronica is that with the screwdriver adjustment, it's
harder to set the transmitter to an exact frequency and definitely so if the
receiver you
mostly use scans in only 100 KHz steps.

Thanks,

Don

A question about recording with total recorder.

Hi folks! I'm having a strange issue with total recorder. I use digital speakers,
and have the digital output only check box checked in the advanced settings under

record using a microphone in total recorder. I have to use a headset, and switch out
of the digital speaker mode, which is kind of a pain. Does anyone know of a way I can
use my speakers, and be able to record at the same time?

I just saved the files from a CD to my My Music folder. I wanted to burn

burn using XP.

hi all, may be best if anyone who can help emails me off list as i guess
this has probably been covered here already.
jfw can't access the rewind/fast forward functions in the embedded WMP used
by mlb audio, but iv'e been told window eyes can. i've got a demo of window
eyes on here and i just tried. while i can arrow around the media window and
yes i can find buttons for fast forward, rewind, pause, stop etc, if i hit
enter on the fast forward button, window eyes says something about MSAA mode
and i can't do anything much aftre that. i'm totally unfamiliar with window
eyes and only want to use it at the moment to access this media window. can
someone tell me step by step how i do it with WE? i don't really want to
have to read through the whole user manual for window eyes just to access
the player. my email address is below.

Changing my default drive, and trying to use CDEX 1.51

2004-05-10 Thread Juan
Hello everyone:
I am trying to use the CD EX 1.51 program, running windows XP and
everything works fine until I place my cd on the drive. I have a drive for
my cd, and a drive for my DVD. It seems like instead of reading my CD drive,
the program is reading my DVD rom. When I use the arrows once my cd is on
place I get the message of "no selected item." and I could tell that by
using my WE cursor, I read info about my DVD rom. Someone seems to think
that this is happening because I may have my DVD set as my default drive? I
am wondering if there is a way how I can check if in fact that's what I have
as my default? and if yes, How could I change that, so that I can have my CD
rom be my default? When installing the CD EX program, everything went ok
until I hit enter to launch it, then I received the following:
"CDEXfailed to load the WNASPI32.DLL driver use the native NT SCSI library
driver option instead?"
I just clicked on yes. Could this be also why I am not able to use the
program?
I would greatly appreciate some help regarding this
thanks very much
