Nero 5 ripping
I have a cd which I want to rip and have the tracks auto labeled by the operation. How do I do this? Do I have to subscribe to Nero's database? I own this version of Nero, it's not a demo. Re: Playing mp3 audio books on a pocket pc
Hi Jeff! I don't know the exact answer to your question, but your wife might want to try the GS player for the pocket PC. It can be obtained from the downloads section of pacmategear.com. It may have a bookmark feature, but I'm not sure since I just installed it. It's great for blind and sighted people because all of the options are available through the menus. Give it a try. Re: Playing mp3 audio books on a pocket pc
Believe it or not, there are other players. I do not know the URL for this one, but you can get GS player, which automatically bookmarks if you will the spot where you stop the audio file. It also plays and streams Ogg Vorbis, and does in fact stream mp3...Yes, it can be done on a Pac Mate. Re: question about Nero 6 suite
Hi, with window-eyes, it is workable, but not comfortable, as you have to use the mouse keys extensively, and, I don't know if the controls or settings in nero express are dependent upon configuration in nero burning rom or not. This could be useful if all you have is an o e m version of nero express, as the problem I was having was that I could add to an unfinalized cd, but the original label would get eraced, and also, the cd would show the size of the disc in terms of the added file, not the whole disc, and with nero express o e m, I didn't know how to change this, but it is possible that once you configure nero burning rom, that the settings will translate to nero express. I don't know why there is no labels tab in nero express, or why the whole disc compilation isn't automatically being added to, but that is why I went to nero 6300, and am happy with it so far. Josh, No, Nero 6 doesn't have the wizard. I simply use the menus, which seems pretty speech friendly and otherwise convenient for me. Sirius online is both more accessible and the sound quality is far better than Xm. Xm uses flash movie buttons where Sirius ises links. for Sirius go to www.sirius.com open any of the links You will have to register for a 3 day pass to be able to listen. There are about 65 stations to listen to. Unfortunately you can only get Sirius' online after you buy a receiver and activate it. XM offers an online only but what good is it if you can' t use it. Re: question about Nero 6 suite
Marty, As it is with me, I make very few audio cds, because anybody who needs music from me has a cd player with mp3 capability. I made an audio cd full of Christmas songs for my wife the other day, and I don't recall seeing such an option. I've seen such an option for making data cds, but none for audio cds. Even when it comes to data discs, I haven't yet been convinced that such labels are really that helpful when it comes to cataloging such discs. I like to make files containing all the songs ant their folders, albums and such, by directing such folder info to a file using the dos command line, and then using the find command to locate the text within the file for a particular cd of mp3s. I saw a check box that said put text on the cd, but I just wanted to make a label that would say christmas cd, but didn't know how to do that. If you make a data cd, there are two tree-views, the isa1 tree-view, and the tree-view of folders of songs to be added, but in an audio cd, there are the two list views, but only one tree-view.
