Appending Files in Sound forge7
Hi. I was trying to combine 6 smaller files in to one large file by appending the rest of the files to file number one, using Sound Forge7. Everything was fine up to file number 5, in file number 6, however, I got the following dialog box: "Sony Sound Forge 7.0 The source sample rate is higher than the destination sample rate. This difference in sample rates will cause the source data to play slower and sound lower pitched in the final mix. Sample rates can be changed while preserving pitch using the Resample function under the Process menu. Are you sure you want to continue? Yes No I really don't know what this dialog means, can I really match the sample rates of the source file and the destination file? If yes, how could this be done, please? I do extremely appreciate for your help, and step-by-step instructions in simple English would really be helpful. Thanks! ENQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU DO ALL DAY! RE: taking notes in music class
Hello, I would venture these two observations from my limited perspective: 1. If you are going to use Sibelius in a class situation, you'd better learn it backwards, forwards and upside down, basically know it like the backof your hand so that you can write quickly. If you can do it, more power to ya. 2. I think the cat's mee-ow, would be to have a program which would enable the writing of text and music for purposes of explanation and discertation. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not think Sibelius does that. If it does, I'm all ears! Subject: taking notes in music class Hello, Did you ever experienced having to take notes in a collegial class in music with the program like Sibelius Speaking? I have a question rather not about Sibelius itself, but about its use in such conditions as a music class. I am now about to start my college studies in Music, much of which will consist of Theory. This means that much of the notes I will be taking will include small musical scores within regular texts. My question is how do you follow in a regular music class when it comes to note-taking, since notes can't be written down with Sibelius as speedily as in the sighted way, let alone writing text nearly at the same time?
