 Hi Jani and list:

I believe Goldwave and Total Recorder are at least two programmes that
 should do what you want.

 Hi,

I'm looking for an accessible MP3 and wave file splitter with silence
detection. I've tried searching Google for this, but haven't had any luck
 so
far. Does someone know of such a program?

Fwd: Sound editing, Your Opportunity to Learn from the Best Is Coming Up

2006-07-23 Thread Steve Pattison

From: David Truong [EMAIL PROTECTED]
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I just spied a message on another list where our very own Kelly KJS
Productions Sapergia is going to give an online interactive seminar
on the use of Sound Forge Tuesday, 0 hours UTC, at
http://www.accessibleworld.org in the Tech Talk room. For those
who've never plumbed the depths of Sound Forge before, having used
other sound and waveform editors, or for those new to audio
production, take this opportunity to learn from one of the best. This
first seminar is free, but if it goes the way it could go, who knows,
it may be the start of a whole suite of classes by Mr. Sapergia where
a fee may be charged. I'm not saying there is, or there will be, but
I'm sure the opportunity exists and if the Accessible World people
know who and what they have in Kelly, one never knows what could come
to pass. So get in on the ground floor is all I'm tellin' ya. You
wanna do production for yourself with big-boy tools, not the Windows
Sound Recorder? Then learn it from a guy who does. Tuesday, midnight
Universal, Kelly Sapergia, http://www.accessibleworld.org, Tech Talk
room, Sound Forge 101.

using other applications playing audio other then winamp, can this be
 done?
Whatever is playing through my sound card I would like to be able to
broadcast with shoutcast. At this point I need to use shoutcast so if this
can be done could you let me know and maybe a quick 1, 2, 3. on how to get

I think, Trace, the answer to your question is that the Recording Endustry

allofmp3. If I can find it, I'll send along this article someone sent me

 Hi,

I found the same thing going on. I heard in a podcast that allofmp3
was under some scrutiny and might be in trouble but have nothing to
 back this up.

I've been told that ordering music is disabled due to scheduled

if
so, how often does it happen, or, do I have a problem?

Thanks

I have a question for those djs out there or just those who like to play
around with such applications. I would like to use shoutcast to broadcast
using other applications playing audio other then winamp, can this be
 done?
Whatever is playing through my sound card I would like to be able to
broadcast with shoutcast. At this point I need to use shoutcast so if this
can be done could you let me know and maybe a quick 1, 2, 3. on how to get
 it up and running?
 Thanks for your time.
