2006-08-28 Thread Rick Harmon
Hi,

Actually the manual is a great place to start. It is well done and there
are all the keyboard shortcuts in it.

Also www.forthe people.com has a great tutorial in galaxy of stars. You'll
have to join but its free. I've also done a series on goldwave at
www.blindcooltech.com

Look for goldwave podcasts there.

Re: Adobe audition

2006-08-28 Thread G. McFarlane
Hi
Audition has unfortunately gone beyond our scripts. Anyone wishing to buy
Audition would have to get a hold of Version 1.5., as Audition version 2 has
fairly substantial interface changes which would need a rewriting of the
scripts. (Unless of course anyone knows anything different.)
I've settled in my mind that I'll stick here at present until I get totally
superceded in a year or two's time or unless a better offering appears.
We should have an Audition sharing group.

Re: sound forge 8, sfk files?

2006-08-28 Thread Jerry Richer
Golden! Producing music with instruments and voice is possible with
any recording program but the procedure would vary with each program. I
believe you have Goldwave? Do you have Sound Forge?
You can do it in MP3 as well as WAV.

Re: Windows Home addition and the duo processor ETC.

2006-08-28 Thread Brian Olesen
Hi,
Yes correct. Windows xp Home edition supports up to 2 cpu kernelss.
I don't know, if the new dual core 2 supports hyper threading, but if it
does it probably should remained turned off as this would give 2 virtual
processors for each kernel, meaning 4 all in all.

Best regards
Brian

secur and non secure items in/on allofmp3

2006-08-28 Thread Dancing Queen
Hi

Now, whenever I try to delete an album from my basket or go to balance it, a
message comes up telling me the page has secure and non secure items on it
and asks if I want to display the non secure items, do I say yes or no? So
far I just close the thing, it comes back and I close it again and then it
stays gone until I delete another album or something.

Re: Windows Home addition and the duo processor ETC.

2006-08-28 Thread Doc
As far as a dual processor It should be a great advantage. I hope to one
day get a board with dual processors. In theory we should be able to
designate certain programs to work with a specific processor. Thus,
pointing a screen reader to its own processor should speed things up nicely.
