Subject: looking for a good mp3 cataloguer

hello all,
i have beenlooking at various mp3 catalogue programms like mp3 collector,
mpeg audio colelction and some more.

i have a vast collection of files, about 80.000 and wheni tried to add them
to a database i often have problems like integer memory overflow, or the
database
gets very slow, because of the amounts of files, probably.
i wonder if there is someone who knows a good programm that i can use with
whitch i can maintain seach big collection?

Re: AC3 Files?

2006-09-20 Thread Dana S. Leslie
Arthur,

At Free-Codecs.com, I found WinampAC3 1.01a,a plug-in, to play AC3 files in
Winamp. It works, but I'm not happy with the sound quality it gives me. The
plug-in's configuration screen is not very JAWS-accessible, and I want to
get some sighted assistance to see if I can improve its performance, before
I give up on it. But, what I'd really like is a utility to convert the AC3s
to wavs. I'll see if I can find such a converter at the site you cite.
Thanks.
