I'll admit, I haven't been keeping up with the list lately, but seeing this about possible accessible XM radios is very cool...As many of you know, I've been an XM subscriber for almost three years, and would NEVER go back to using terrestrial radio, but the thought of a more blind-friendly radio will definitely continue to keep me with XM, merger or not. I've also been an XM411.com member since July of 2004, and can tell you it's a great site. Ziggy and Ed run a great forum, and any time I've had issues navigating something on the site, they've always been happy to assist...For that reason, I'd encourage ANYONE thinking of buying XM products to support Ziggy's store at www.myradiostore.com. Unfortunately, I bought my receiver before I knew about him, and my MyFi was a gift from a friend who works for an electronics retailer, but I can tell you that my next XM receiver will come from My Radio Store. Personally, if they're trying to modify a current radio to make it more accessible, I'd like to see them do the Inno because of its storage capacity. Check out my articles at Associated Content. Re: Problem with advanced options in sound card
I recently ran into this problem on a laptop. As I recall, when JAWS announced that the advanced controls were unavailable, I either hit space or enter (should have been enter, even though the 'unavailable message said it wouldn't work. then, when I re-entered the properties menu, the unavailable message was gone and I was able to check the advanced controls so that they would sho up. I hope it works for you. Dean Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: More on Possible Accessible XM Radio
Hi Mac XM does not have a captcha for logging into their online site. Yes, i will agree that the Sirius site is more of a bear to use. However, during my 3 day free trial of the online service, i had little to no trouble entering the captcha. it's a simple edit field, much like you would find on other websites. so, if you use your arrow keys with the pc cursor active, or if you simply hit the letter e, JAWS will take you to the first edit field on the page. each successive hit of the letter e takes you to the next edit field. Even nicer news is that if you buy the Replay A/V software and want to record something from Sirius online, the program is smart enough that it can completely bypass the captcha, and will automatically record for you. So if you want to record anything that may be a worthwhile investment. At 12:32 PM 2/25/2007, you wrote: Dear Steve and list, I have been subscribed to the other party, in the merger, namely Sirius! Re: A bunch of live Live 365 Questions
Hi, David. Can't seem to figure out what email address you used to send your message, so this might go out to the whole list, so please forgive me. We registered for the 7 day trial to be broadcasters but can't set up studio 365 yet. I'm thinking it could be because we registered on a Saturday night, but there's something about it taking one business day to get us set up, if I read the literature right. In any case, we seem to be stuck and can't configure Studio 365 yet. I also had a question about storage space on Live 365. Right now we're set up for 200 meg a month, which isn't much. Our music quality is generallyy set at 192kb, but I notice folks have things set at 32 kbs. Does Live 365 let you send your material out at any rate you want? Sorry, I can't think of the terminology here. Just wondering about these things. Also, and you may not know this, can you access your station and add material to your show from any other computer, so long as you put in your own passwword, etc? I'm thinking about having several young people from our community participate in putting things up there on our station. Any advice you have would be helpful. Re: More on Possible Accessible XM Radio
Thanks, I got logged in, but, I still cannot seem to get the player to start up! It has been so long since I got it to work, that I have almost forgotten how to program in the channel numbers!! In addition, the flash player, or some Java script, is/are giving me trouble, making the page work very slowly, in JAWS 8.0! Any ideas on what to do, about that? Hi! I'm trying to figure out where to even find the CD-ripping feature in Winamp.
