Re: How to Download Free Winamp
Hi. If you're using JAWS 8 it's been recommended that you stick with the scripts that come with JAWS 8, as it seems like those other scripts only screw things up. however, on a few systems i've heard about, the scripts actually make the library more accessible if you use earlier versions of Winamp. I say this because if you're using the latest beta version, a lot of the accessibility issues of the media library have been somewhat addressed. It's not entirely perfect but it's a lot better than it was before!!! So, if you make good use of the media library and you have JAWS 8 and don't mind betas, give the latest Winamp beta a try and see how it works for you. or you could simply press the delete key when you're on the feed you want, answer ok to the diallogue that comesup and make life about 10 times easier. why go through all that when simply pressing the delete key and then enter does the same thing in 2 keystrokes. Re: Using the Juice reciever with scripts or not?
Well, the question is asked, if it ain't broke, why bother fixing it? It's always been my thinking that if a program does not require scripts to use it, then you are not required to use the scripts simply because they exist. If you aren't having any trouble, then don't worry. In fact there's ben a few times I've used scripts with a program that was pretty usable out of the box and the accessibility of the program went right down the crapper because the developer either didn't do a good job writing the scripts, or they only wrote it for their system in mind, and we all know what happens when you write something for your own system in mind, it doesn't work very well on other people's systems, at least most of the time that I've seen. Either way, the long and the short of it is if you aren't having any trouble, don't use the scripts. At 08:29 AM 4/14/2007, you wrote: >Listers, >I am using the Juice reciever with out the scripts. To dissable the Autoplay feature. Go to"My Computer" Right windows on the cd or dvd drive and press control tab or select the second tab on the dialogue box. The first is general, the second is Autoplay. That box has the choices to determine course of action when a disk is inserted. Here you can dissable the feature. Re: Using the Juice reciever with scripts or not?
I am a WE not a JFW user; and to my experience, Juice is perfectly and completely usable without any set file "as is" right out of the box. Juice follows the conventional Windows structure so alt-f gets you to the file menu, alt-t to tools, alt-v to the view menu, etc. Once you spend some time with Juice, it is easy to go between the subscriptions and downloads in the View menu and also to manage the subscriptions and set up the clean-up parameters settable individually for each subscription you have. You will find this ability under Tools, feed properties. I doubt that anyone could design a podcatcher anymore straight forward than Juice is. Re: GameDay Audio
I do the exact opposite of John: go to the multimedia page first: select my feed: then I am prompted for the logon info (which Roboform supplies) click the logon link and pronto. What's interesting here is that there are obviously varying approaches to get the job done, and they appear to work equally well for those using it. And probably the reasons we choose the approach we do is based on what each of us views as being the most convenient. The best way I have found is to go to the register log in page and then to the multi-media guide page. earlier, patricknc, wrote: >I have found that the best way to get to the game, for me anyway, is to go >to mlb.com, then login, hit ins-f7 and find the link for Gameday Audio, then >do Ins-f7 again and go to Multi-media guide. Re: Cassett deck to pc.
If they're replaceable on cd, do that. If they're your own, just get any deck with a line-out. - Original Message - From: Gary Wood To: PC audio discussion list. I heard that there was indeed a USB cassette deck that you connect to your computer to copy cassettes, but I don't remember what it is!
