Audition 1.0 scripts
These scripts won't compile under jaws 8. Does anyone have them working under jaws 8, if so, I'd be grateful for your hellp. jaws 8 wasn't out when the scripts were built, and I don't have sufficient knowledge of jaws scripting to make modifications to them. Looking for a crisp clear mic
Hello folks, I know just about nothing about recording equipment, mics, mixers and so on. But I'd like to produce a better then good quality recording. I just have cheapo mics now, a twenty buck headphone mic combo and an eleven dollar computer mic. What should I maybe start with? If I wanted to look for a used mic on ebay or what have ya, what should I look for? I remember a conversation about the imic a while ago, but I didn't really understand what it exactly did. so, what can't I do without an imic? Is that even what it's called? Re: Looking for a crisp clear mic
Well yes you could use that but if you are on a tight budget or if you really don't want to sound professional or if you want to go portible and use it on skype or to record scratch tracks or ... lol! I like my usb micflex or what ever it is called. it does what I want it to and is good for podcasting to. Both suggestiosn are good. you could do the condenser mic when you are ready and more comfortable with recording. Good luck. Check this out, this podcast is a demo of two different ones. http://www.podsqod.com/2005/08/22/podsqod-7-mxl-drk-samson-c01u-review/ - Original Message - From: Sarah [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Sunday, December 02, 2007 12:22 AM Subject: Re: Looking for a crisp clear mic Hello. CD's Too Large for Burning
Hi All I have a MP3 copy of a commercial music CD that I need to convert back to a WAV file as the player in the new car will not play MP3's. The original CD has long disappeared so I used CDEx to convert only to find it comes out at around 740 megs. I can't understand how it happens as the original fitted perfectly. I was told by a friend the bit rate of the MP3 makes a difference but I find this doesn't seem to be so. The rate is 128 kbs so reducing it I feel would result in an inferior quality recording. With DVD's I understand there is a program called DVDShrink which can reduce a file to enable it to fit a smaller space. Is there such a facility for CD's? Roger Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
