RE: mp3 direct cut
I have several questions about Mp3 Direct Cut. I have figured out much of the program, but there are still a few things that don't make sense. First, I don't see the ctrl+arrow keys changing the volume of a selection, or of anything. Second, I can't quite figure out what the E shortcut key does. Third, I see how to create split points either by pause detection or auto-cue, but I can't see any way to manually insert a split point in a file. Fourth, the recording feature appears pretty inaccessible. Has anybody had better luck with it? Fifth, What is high-speed recording? It isn't even described in the manual, but it is a menu option and a feature which they tout for the program. The program is quite useful, but I'd like to understand as much of it as I can. Thanks. Re: recording device for telephone calls
I don't supose you have an old modem about or in your computer that you don't use? If so you can record dirctly from it with goldwave or audio editors. bb - Original Message - From: "Bob Seed" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2009 6:03 PM Subject: Re: recording device for telephone calls Brett: I am looking for a hardwear device that will link the telephone to the computer. Setting Recording Levels in Vista
Greetings Everyone, My old computer of eight years finally died and I now have a new one, with the dreaded Vista operating system. If anyone uses this OS, could you please tell me how to set recording levels, especially for a USB microphone. Many thanks. Re: Intro and Help needed urgently, or at least fast
That won't work as Vista handles audio completely differently. For one "wave out", "stereo mix" etc is disabled by default and you can't see it by default either. -- Chris Hallsworth e-mail: christopher...@googlemail.com MSN: ch9...@hotmail.com Skype: chrishallsworth7266 - Original Message - From: "Gary Schindler" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2009 2:43 AM Subject: Re: Intro and Help needed urgently, or at least fast I can't tell you exactly how to do this in vista but go to the playback properties in the volume control and make sure mic and wave volumes are checked. then close the volume control. you should here the synthesizer and your voice through the USB headset once you plug it in. in the record properties, make sure the stereo mix is checked and do the same within which recording program you choose to use. - Original Message - From: "Rob DeZonia" To: Sent: Monday, February 16, 2009 8:43 PM Subject: Intro and Help needed urgently, or at least fast > Hi everyone, > I'm Rob. Re: Intro and Help needed urgently, or at least fast
Hi what was the problem with Total Recorder? I'm very intrigued as I seem to have no problems using Total Recorder? Could it be that the Total Recorder driver doesn't work with some sound cards or something? -- Chris Hallsworth e-mail: christopher...@googlemail.com MSN: ch9...@hotmail.com Skype: chrishallsworth7266 - Original Message - From: "Rob DeZonia" To: Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2009 1:43 AM Subject: Intro and Help needed urgently, or at least fast Hi everyone, I'm Rob.
