Interesting isn't it?

Subject: tried Real player for many years.

Hello!
I have now tried RealPlayer for many years.
Finally, it was 2006 I was using RealPlayer.
Then with hal / supernova.
then it was bad.
now it is not as good.
but noticed with JAWS, it worked very bettre than before.
JAWS has preprogrammed script and instructions for using RealPlayer.
they tested a bit and what I want to say that the RealPlayer now has
keyboard shortcuts that work and that will arrive if you press the
insert or number
0beroende if you have laptops or not, and it h.
then it will up the commands available for the program.
this in my PC with Windows 7.
safe operation of these commands to get enlightened with jawsknapp and h
in the ADNR system.
but have uninstalled RealPlayer now.
use vlc and windows media player.
but read this and ponder for those of you who are RealPlayer users.
/ Bardia.

hej!
/Bardia.

Re: program for playing sound clips

2011-06-22 Thread Steve Matzura
Well, considering what we did before SPL was available, it doesn't
seem like such a big deal. I used to have three Winamps loaded up--one
for music, one for spots, one for drop-ins. I had to set things up
before I used them, but make it sound like it was done on the fly. A
good challenge, I can tell you that. I'm by no means advocating that
you should go back to this technology, just that it's been done, and
for those who can't afford SPL Studio, it's more work, but doable.

Why do you need a program to do this? Your imagination if used will give
 you plenty of solutions.

Does anyone have recommendations on a program I can use to add sound
 clips
to my podcast while i'm recording the podcasst that's accessible? This
 would
be a program that I could load up with different sounds to play, like an
 old
 cart machine.

Sure and we used to have hundreds of carts with just one sound effect on
each. Definitely a challenge unless you are from the old school like me.
Of course point and click type interfaces for sighted people have been
around for quite a while now.

That's a mighty expensive solution for such a small thing. What's
wrong with good old Winamp and a playlist file? Just set Winamp not to
advance to and play the next track, you control that yourself.

quality microphones for voice dictation

2011-06-22 Thread Robert Logue
I need to find a good headset microphone for voice dictation and computer
control. I'm planning to use Dragon NaturallySpeaking and I have two computers
Windows XP and Windows 7. The wireless headset I have right now is not very
good. I'm quite disappointed because I get tix pops and crackles in the audio
stream so I need something better if I want to use Dragon or Windows speech
recognition. I hope I can find something wireless if not then I want to get a
set that is quality and has a good long cable or can be extended easily I wish
I knew what's really good for voice recognition and that would also make my
voice sound good.

It's important that I feel comfortable wearing this microphone. I don't want to
have to worry about bumping it or bumping into it and causing artifacts that
confuse speech recognition or make poor audio recordings of my voice. It would
be a bonus if it also made my voice sound good. The headset I'm using now.
Makes me sound kind of nasal as if I have a head cold and is not as good as the
microphones I use in my Olympus recorder.
