XPMC
Hi guys. Has any one here tried XPMC? It was brought up on the windows 8 update site as a stand in for WMC if you don't want to buy Win 8 Pro, and the WMC pack on top of that. Which I don't see what the big deal is, accept for it's not totally new and it won't play BDs', but I digress. They said XPMC can do just about everything WMC or Windows Media Center can. That's why I ask. Is that statement even true? To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
CD Ripping
A two-pronged question: I'm using Windows XP Pro with JAWS 11. 1. I bought Express Rip; a very nice program. But it gets the wrong info from the Internet for the CD. I don't know how to change where it gets the info. 2. So I went back to CDex and it gets the right track names and stuff, but it creates silent files that are about 25% the size that they should be. Anybody have a suggestion for either program? Preciate it very much.
