problem with a link on tapin radio

2013-03-23 Thread André van Deventer
Hi all!

I really hope someone can assist me here.

I use tapin radio to listen to a specific South African radio station
called Springbok Radio Digital.

The link that tapin radio uses does not work properly anymore. It simply
repeats programming from more than a month ago.

The providers changed the link now. But when I try to add the link to tapin
radio, it does not work at all. It seems that the only way you can listen
to this station now is on the web. But the web player has no controls at
all.

I want to know if it is possible to extract some kind of link that you can
use with tapin radio?

The link I use to listen to the station on the net is

http://www.sabc.co.za/wps/portal/SABC/listenlivepopup#fragment-17

Thanx

Andre

digital Jukebox

2013-03-23 Thread Peter Russillo
Hi list.  I'm curious if anyone here uses Digital Jukebox from Marvelsoft;
is it easy to use, and is there a podcast with a demo of the software?
Thanks.

Best I can suggest is to get in touch with Tapin (I think it's in the
Help section of the menu; you can email them and hopefully they can address
the problem or at least tell you what's going on.

They both work quite well. Now, if you are going to play a DVD with either
of them, you must use Narrator and shut JAWS off. This is because since JAWS
is using a mirror driver, it'll think you want to steal the content to put
it directly. So you must use //Narrator for DVD play back. That works well
though. Trust me, I've done it. Remember that with WMC you can turn your PC
into a TV. The set up I here you need sighted help for, but once that's all
done and over with, you can use it just fine. Note, you can do most of the
basic setup, the monitor, the speakers and stuff like that. I here it's the
signal set up that's hard. Oh yeah, setting up the times for it to down load
updates is kind of hard too. You can set up the internet signal, but you
aren't sure what you're doing. I just let it do what ever it wishes. I love
Windows Media Centere. I wnt to put a TV tooner
In my next PC and use it as a TV. But yeah, both WMC and WMP both work with
JAWS.
