Greetings, GW works out of the box but the scripts make it work better. I can't remember where I took mine from but as has been stated, mine are not the latest. They work with my version which is GW V5.68, I only have XP Home so maybe later versions of GW are not available to me. I have just checked and no updates found for my GW. stripping out unwanted content in a recording

Victor Reader Stream New Generation Review
There is a review of the Victor Reader Stream (New Generation) in the April 2013 Issue of AccessWorld http://www.afb.org/afbpress/pub.asp?DocID=aw1404toc The review mentions a tone that is present on recordings made by the new Stream in all recording formats. If anyone on the list owns the new Stream or has heard recordings made by one, I would like to know how seriously this tone degrades recordings. I would also be interested to hear a longer sample of the Acapela speech used in the new Stream than the sample on the Humanware web site. After putting up with the mispronunciation issues in the Neospeech used in the BookSense for nearly 4 years, I want to know what to expect from the new Stream when reading various types of documents. I am considering a purchase in the near future, and I don't want any bad surprises if I decide to spend my $369. Wel, you can always get the stratus, it doesn't have the same problems the stream currently have, and it have a very sexy speaker.
