Champions Trophy Streaming

2013-06-10 Thread Stephen jolley
Hi all,

A number of radio commentary options now identified for the Champions
Trophy.

If you have difficulty with the correct station when clicking on the Radio
2000 link, just choose Radio 2000 from the list on the page that comes up.

New Zealand matches plus semi finals and final may be available from NZ
Radio Sport, further down my page.

Cheers,

Stephen

Hmmm did you know you can tell Jaws what sound card to use? If I
remember it's in the Jaws window, under utilities menu and sound card
submenu.

total recorderis the one that is capturing jaws no matter what sound

wouldn't mind any tips on using the new interface cause it appears to me
totally re done.

Re: good microphone

2013-06-10 Thread Robert Nelson

Your question is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string?

For a good headset try the Audio Technica ATH-COM2

For a stand alone microphone try the Audio Technica AT8022

If you are looking for a good USB microphone try the Rode Podcaster.

You can find these with a search on amazon.com

If you would like more help, tell us whether you want:
to plug it in to a 3.5 mm socket
or a 6 mm socket (large phone jack) or
a USB port on your computer or
an XLR socket on a mixer

You might also consider buying a Behringer UB502 mixer for less than $50 to
give you some flexibility with connections. It is small and has a foot
print about the same as an Iphone laid flat. If you search on amazon.com,
you will see more details.

2013-06-10 Thread Samuel Wilkins
Hello Joe, I use a Yeti USB microphone and it works very well. Another
microphone I would recommend are the Roland CS10EM microphones, which can
plug into your computer's microphone jack. These microphones are in-ear
microphones, but can also double as earphones, and cost £80, which is around
$120. Hope this helps.

Digital Jukebox

2013-06-10 Thread Peter Russillo
Hi list. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium on my machine and the program
Digital Jukebox from Marvelsoft and found something strange: I have several
MP3 files I purchased from CD Baby. These play just fine using Winamp or
the media player on System Access Mobile network; however, when I use
Digital Jukebox and try these same MP3 files I get an error message that
goes something like: There was a problem; failed to initialize MCI ... I
couldn't copy that error message to show you, but when I asked Marvelsoft
about this, I was told some MP3 files use a different codec than others.
(there are a lot of these kinds of files that work fine with Digital
Jukebox. What is this MCI business, and how can I find what codec an MP3
file uses? I'd like to be able to use Digital Jukebox with these files; is
there a workaround to this? Thanks for any help you can give me.
