Re: re for soundforge users

2013-11-08 Thread Mike Thomas
that's exactly what I came to the conclusion. I even found a third party
application that is suppose to add that capability, but I couldn't get it to
pickup system sounds like JAWS in a goldwave recording. Thanks for all your
help.

OK but does it have something called Playback? It's the same as Stereo
Mix.

I am sorry, that is what it means. Some realTech cards don't have

goldwave again

2013-11-08 Thread Joe Giovanelli
First, I thank all of you who wrote with suggestions.

I had someone look at the screen while I pressed control-j. The cursor moves
but the audio does not follow. This is something else again.

Re: goldwave again

2013-11-08 Thread John Y
Control j moves the start marker to the next cue point, but does not
move the playback cursor. After pressing control j, you can press home
to move the cursor to the start marker's position. If the file is
playing, playback should jump to the start marker position. I have play
3 set to cursor to end so that pressing the space bar will play starting
at the cursor, regardless of where the start and end markers are. You
can adjust the 3 play buttons in the control properties with f11 or
choose it from the options menu. If you want to confirm time positions
of start and end markers, press shift e and tab to the start or finish
edit box. The radio button that has focus when the dialog opens should
be set to time based position. Press escape to cancel if you don't want
to change the position of the markers.
