Re: Question About Hope for Pandora

2014-05-04 Thread Evan Reese
Thanks Robert, I got the activation prompt with this version, unlike the one
I tried installing from my old system, and I was able to activate it with
the code from my old system. It['s running fine now.

Thanks very much!]

See if this one will work for you.

https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/jx3w1y

It is now working just fine for me.

If we can't look at ourselves, and ask, why? then where does the learning
start?

From what I can remember, I think it was the version for Windows.

Awhile back I had this issue when I downloaded the portable version of
Hope.
The developer told me that the portable version of Hope should have not
been
visible nor available off his website. Did you by any chance download the
portable version of Hope?

To put it in different words from Peter's, the support for Hope is
hopeless.
They'll take your money fast enough, but don't expect any response from
them. But I hope you get yours fixed. If it weren't for this list, I
wouldn't have gotten mine fixed.

Subject: Question About Hope for Pandora

Hi All,

I recently downloaded Hope software for Pandora, and when I go to run it
as a demo I get the error message saying that "Hope has stopped working
and windows

is searching for a solution."

Has anybody else encountered this and what if anything can I do to
correct this?

I sent a message to technical support but received no solution.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Robbie

Replay Radio 9.0.1.46 & Recording from External Source

2014-05-04 Thread Petro T. Giannakopoulos
This feature was added in an earlier version with Replay Radio 9 and I tested
today. Was able to schedule a recording with a start time to record from an
external source like from a radio unit's headphone output jack connection to a
USB sound card's mic input jack. Scheduler was set to capture from record audio
(device) and Device was set USB Sound Device. I used a 1/8 inch cable to
connect the radio's output to the mic input of the USB sound card. I have JAWS
set to use my laptop's internal sound card while in Windows OS I have the
default sound card set to the USB sound card. This allows me to use my screen
reader without being interrupted. Possibly if I used amplification I would have
heard the sound output from the radio but with no amplification I could not
monitor the sound from the radio during recording with Replay Radio 9. Works
great for me.
