hi jeff, yes it does. here are the different bluetooth profiles it supports taken from the manual. Supported Bluetooth profiles*: A2DP (Wireless Stereo Bluetooth), AVRCP (Bluetooth Remote Control), HFP (Handsfree profile) Supported Codec: SBC, aptX, AAC pete. This Creative speaker sounds quite good. Thanks for the details. One question is, Does it have A2DP so VoiceOver is also heard through the speaker when using an iDevice? I have, or should I say had, a Bose Soundlink 3 speaker for use with portable bluetooth capable devices. For reasons not particularly relevant to this list, I won't have access to that speaker during the school year, since it will be going to school with my spouse. So I'm wondering about other alternatives, perhaps even some that might not be as pricy as the Bose. I've just read about the BW t7, which actually costs more than the Bose. Then there are Braven models which look interesting,

Thanks Pete. I've just ordered one. When I saw how two could be linked together for true stereo with a proprietary cable I almost got two but common sense prevailed. Much as I love the idea the rare times I would do it wouldn't justify the cost. The feature set of these speakers is almost endless and I recommend anyone who is interested to visit the Creative website.
