RE: Recording Skype with Total Recorder

2015-04-29 Thread Humberto Rodriguez
Hello,

If your sound card has Stereo Mixor What you hear it is very easy, just
record what goes through your sound card.

If not, I believe you need the Pro version of Total Recorder, then go to
Options and Recording source and parameters; there to Advanced and select
Mixing source and soundboard.

Alternatively, you need software such as Virtual Cable so as to be able to
record incoming and outgoing Skype sound.

HIH,

Humberto

Yes, I do recall an issue similar to that which you described but that was
quite some time ago, turn on the auto update feature so that you're notified

I guess you could describe me as a Power VLC user, I use it for all sorts of

No, I don't think the setting is memorised, I have that same thing
happen here, I just go and change it again where appropriate.

In my situation I might prefer VLC play through my default computer
speakers, I don't want this however if I'm watching a recorded TV show,
I then switch VLC to play through my Denon AVR2113.

No problems here, I use the Open folder command or browse to the
folder
 using VLC itself.

 Hi all

Does anyone know of alternatives to VLC for the Mac? At the moment,
if I open a folder containing thousands of files it gets busy for a long
time. Using 2.2.1. I'm pretty sure an earlier version of VLC didn't do that.

 Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks!

So where would be the most likely place where one could go to get a list of
shortcut keys for VLC? I have this player...but don't really know the
shortcuts! Thank you!

Hi!
I suggest you do a review of it in the app store.
You can do that and that goes directly to the devs and to apple.

For IOS vlc is not very good, it does play lots of formats, but there is
no jump to time and when you press on the video player to show controls,
it goes back after a few seconds, so its a pain in the neck. Also,
there is no search in the ftp browser.

 Hi!
There was one long time ago but that was for vlc 0.8 or something.
 Things has changed now.
