Decided to have a go at doing this with VLC Media Player for Windows, found a very nice tutorial on the subject. Firstly if you’re using Window-Eyes and you wish to have a go at doing this then I suggest you forget it, by default Window-Eyes won’t even read the dialogue boxes and thus you won’t be able to select the information you require. I don’t know about JAWS as I’ve not had time to explore the various options in VLC for ripping/converting but I have had time use NVDA and it worked quite well. ** Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind. -- ** Those who need help are those who are prepared to help themselves -- ** Those who need help are those who are prepared to help themselves

Hi! Has anyone these headphones? I read a review in swedesh that it was one of the best wired headphones around. I think it was $300 . Just wonder if i should stick with them or stay with my beyer dynamic dt770. /A
Re: BW P7.
Yep, it is though note the following. The cord is short, around 4 feet, they're really designed for Portable use b but no reason whatever! why you can't use them with your favourite stereo system. Incredibly well built as is every BW product. Wonderful bass, never heard anything like it through a pair of headphones but again, shouldn't expect anything less from a company such as BW. Yep, top is still there, loud and clear but that's BW. On 17/05/2015 6:18 PM, Anders Holmberg wrote: Hi! Has anyone these headphones? Re: BW P7.
Yep I agree with pretty much all of that, if you do want to use them for travelling - and you have a Smart Phone - then there are Apps that can enable the Microphone of the BW P7 so that you can hear what's going on around you, the App works in the background. There are advantages to these close headphones, for one thing you hear the sound from the cans and there's no interference from other noises like a train engine, other people talking etc - in my view its a far better solution than noise cancelling - but it does come with disadvantages as does everything I guess. I didn't realise these cans were now so cheap, BW must be really keen to push those things and I again I say, at that price - if you're looking for a most reasonable pair of cans - then jump down to your local store and pick up a pair. More importantly they are an enclosed style and cut down external sounds so if you are on a local train or bus you may not hear your stop being announced, and for a blind person walking around it wouldn't be safe. They are great for long journeys, holidays or of course listening at home. They'll sound great with any high end equipment as well as portables. Re: BW P7.
I should have mentioned this in the last email as its so obvious. We get a lot of questions regarding the sound of BW products and how they sound. I can honestly say that - given I own 3 different BW products - you've heard one then you have a fair idea of how the others will sound. So I'll put that into context a little futher, I have the BW Z2 IOS/AirPlay dock which sounds bloody nice - the sound it gives out is astonishing given that the machine only has 2 speaker drivers, one for left and one for right. - Okay, so that's very basic BW sound, very good but even better than that is the BW A5 AirPlay speaker system I have which is mid-range, it extends on that basic sound of the Z2 and of course soudns even better given that it has 4 drivers in total, 2 for bass-mid range and 2 tweeters, incredibly nice. Now if you want to go further up the chain with your speaker system then the A7 is the top of the line and it sounds utterly brilliant though I still don't own one, I have heard one and there's more difference in the sound given the A7 has bigger drivers than the A5 as well as the addition of a sub-woofer, go eat your heart out and and party on smile. If you have a Z2, A5 or A7 then you have some of the best AirPlay/IOS speaker technology and quality available today, no joke and no fooling. .All these speaker systems have Aux-In jacks so you can connect an external source but the A7 goes a few steps further with a USB port for a memory stick full of music and an Optical digital in, just right for that CD Player, optical out of a computer etc. I don't know whether the USB port of the A7 can be connected to a computer but I suspect it can, when I get one I'll read the manual smile.
