News: Apple in talks to buy Jay Z's streaming service Tidal

Who knows just how far this will go but - if the deal goes ahead - we’re sure
to see more changes in the online music streaming landscape.

Yep certainly.

You stream Winamp to your Airport Express by first running Airfoil and
then pressing the "Source" button, its identified by tabbing to it, its
about the third button along and your screen reader should announce
"Toggle" as well as "Button", press the button with the Spacebar and a
list will pop-up of all the physical sound devices and software you can
capture the sound output from, Winamp should be amongst these but if it
isn't then move to "Choose Other App" and select Winamp From there.

Next press all to bring up the menu system and press T for Transmit,
select Airport Express and start streaming.

Hello Dane
Ok, can you perhaps give me a few pointers. I have a usb wifi dongle on my pc
and I have an Apple Airport Express. Can I use winamp to stream music from my
pc to my hifi by using winamp? If so, how would I set airfoil up?

I’ve never bothered with the user manual for Airfoil - whether it be Windows or
Mac - and there are more than likely things I’ve missed, I just messed about
with Airfoil until I got the product to do what I’ve wanted it to do.

I guess you can ask questions so I and others may answer.

Hello Dane
I did the upgrade and now I am just wondering: do you perhaps have a user
manual saved as one file. I notice that the manual on the site consists of many
links, so it would be nice to have a .txt or .docx file.

New versions of Airfoil have been released for Mac and Windows, discover what
this amazing audio streaming product can do.

I use both Airfoil on Windows and Mac, accessibility on the Windows PC is okay,
you can tab through the buttons and get to the menu system.
