Re: ACB radio convention stream

2004-07-07 Thread Bud Keith
carl,
i just went to acbradio and in the demand section are archives of this
year's convention. there is a listen link and a download link for each
session. i clicked on a download link, and the download screen came up
nicely.
i don't understand why you should have a problem.At 06:53 PM 07/07/2004,

Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to download the ACB convention
coverage so that it can be played in Winamp or something? There is an FTP
link for each day of coverage but when I activate it it just plays but
doesn't let me download the file. The link just above the FTP link says
listen so I assumed that the FTP link would let me download a file. If
I right click the link I don't get a save source choice. Anyway, can
anyone out there help?

Yeah, just find a song that you're framiliar with on CD, then
 hopefully
you have that same song on vinal. And then plug a pair of
 phones in to
your CD player, and only use 1 ear. Then plug another pair
 of phones in
to your amp, and use the one ear from the second pair of phones. Then
try and start them both at the same time. Make sure they're as close
together as you can get them. Then adjust your pitch control on your
turntable, until it matches the pitch with your CD version. I've have
done it and it can take some time, so please be patient.
 Hope this helps,
 Kevin

Has someone else out there found a solution to this problem?

I installed Real 10 recently. It seems to be working well, but it won't
close, either by using alt f4, or by clicking close with the mouse button.
I always have to use End Task. Is there something I can do about this?

So I excepted it and the down load became a four hour job

it works fine anyone know what's going on
As I have been told 9.0 will not work with windows 98

Re: The FM transmitter revisited one more time.

2004-05-08 Thread Bud Keith
you have to peel off a label on the back of the transmitter, and the screw
is hidden underneath. this system effectively allows you to have an
illegally powerful transmitter, and c crane doesn't tell you how to do
it.At 12:43 PM 05/08/2004, you wrote:
Hi folks! Well, I purchased the transmitter from Ccrane, and it seems to

somewhere on the transmitter that you're supposed to turn. Where do you
find that screw?

Re: Spinner.com ... Anyone know what's going on there?

2004-05-01 Thread Bud Keith
hi jim,
yes, aol bought spinner, and what used to be a wonderful service is now
just bait for aol.
live 365 has some wonderful stations, and if you become a preferred member
for fifteen or twenty bucks, there are very few promos and no
commercials. i'm certain you could find quite a number of stations playing
the sort of stuff you like.
you might also want to explore saga radio from england. they have four
stations, and i absolutely love primetime radio.
