When I try to access links with the acb radio tuner I get the error bong
and the tuner says that it can not access the links with the winamp
player. This is a quick bong so I suspect some sort of file is missing
that bridges the link from the tuner to the web. I have done the
following. Re installed the tuner. Re installed winamp Re installed I E
8. Cleared all caches known to me. I may re install service Pack three to
see if that helps. this is the only web application that I have problems
with so there is not enough incentive to install windows again or any
such foolishness like that. If any of you high tech A C B folks have my
answer please help. I know it is on my end because eva's tuner works and
so does the one in my netbook. I suspect a net framework update or a
visual basic update has messed me up.
Sense I wrote this I have re installed xp service pack 3 with the same
results. here is the error message I a getting from the tuner.

I have sense run the system file checker to replace any missing files. By
the way I am running the latest version of winamp version 5.6 I think.> ACB
Radio Tuner
The ACB Radio Tuner was unable to launch this stream, using Winamp.graphic

again.
Alternatively, try one of the other two players the Tuner Supports, by
selecting it from the Player option, on the

no it won't I have tried it. Like I say the error sound is very quick so the
tuner doesn't seem to try to connect at all. I willsee if installing the

High Donald,
That's Winamp 5.56.
But any how, see if the tuner will play in Windows Media Player.
If it does, then, the problem could be a missing plug in that Winamp needs
to have and order to play the CB radio tuner.

My best regards.
 John.

If you're only interested in playback, why not check out the Musical
Fidelity V-DAC. It's a USB digital to analogue converter rather than
soundcard from a well respected hi-fi manufacturer.

I use a program called Audigen from Red Chair Software which provides my
music library and has excellent search functionality including a simple
search on a string that could be in either artist, album or track and a
more powerful search that uses SQL. It can also produce reports in a
number of formats based on simple or complex search criteria.

try spraying some canned air in there first. you may just have a dirty lazor

Hi.
looking for advice.
my boom box has bit the dust.
thought it was my cds tha were dodgy.
well had this baby for almost 25 years, and handed down by my baby
brother.

now, the cd just started skipping and jumping.
but i knew the cd was good.
so i put one of my dads cds in, and it stutered, and would not play.
so the cd player has died.
not worth getting it replaced.
so, what ghetto blasters or boom boxes, have people purchased.
and some thing for a blind person easy to use.
does it just have a radio and a cd player.
so i can then listen to my cds.
with new models.
which models or brands, the good, bad and down right ugly.
want to get it right.
and will they play 80s minute blank cds.
stores do not sell 74 minute blank cds.
and from leading edge a spindle of 55 blank cdr cds tdk for $15.
if i go the rewriteable.
packs of 10 fo either $18 or $19 a pack.
which is the better way to go.
maybe just cdr.
as got over 800 tracks on my hard disk.
let me know if any one can help.
Marvin.

out.
In the notes it advises that the interface has been redesigned. This
always

rings alarm bells for me as it often means that products that were once
accessible may no longer be. Has anyone installed it and tried it with a
screen reader yet?

I'm starting from ground zero insofar as this kind of thing is concerned.
At some point, I would like to put some of my records and cassettes onto
the
PC and I'd also like to be able to manipulate the recordings I've got on
my
dm520; I'm sure there are other audio tasks, oh yes, ripping cd's to a
more

useable format as well.

I'm thinking if I got both Goldwave and Total Recorder I should be set.

Is this correct or will both of them do the same thing; I do not wish to
be

redundant.

Thoughts are appreciated.

One problem with this approach is that you'll lose quality using MP3 as an
interim file type. I would suspect GoldWave could do what you're asking.
It isn't free, but you could probably accomplish want you want with the
trialware version.

I think that you can set a start and an end timer on the pocket the
way you could the PTR2. you have to do it under the custom recording mode.

it would be best to use a mixer but you could record from the amplifyers

Re: Veronica FM transmitter

2010-06-26 Thread Donald Ball
don the one I have has a manual tuner but it is stable. It does have audio
adjustments on the inside but is preset for most things. it does have RCA
jacks. My transmiter was made in 2001 and has a long wire antenna but I
understand that the newer ones have a whip. it has good power and the best
audio of all of the small transmitters.

I am writing to inquire as to whether there is more than one
incarnation of the Veronica FM transmitter. I am considering the
purchase of a used one. From its description, it sounds as if it has
analog frequency adjustment, and I prefer to buy one which is phase
lock loop.

Three other questions if I may. Is there a pot on the transmitter
which allows one to match the output from the source to the
transmitter? Second, will this unit work in conjunction with a whip
antenna, or must it be connected to a roof top antenna? Lastly, are
its input connectors RCA or 3.5 mm.?

Thanks for feedback.

Is there any all-in-one Internet radio recorder that will do this? It must
be speach friendly and allow me to record stream from Live365.com or
Shoutcast.com. Preferrably it will break the recordings into tracks
automatically. Any ideas? I'm using JAWS 12.
