scheduling of total recorder?

2006-08-03 Thread Home Sweet Home
Hello,
is there a way to tell total recorder to save with a particular file name where
only the date changes? at the station where i work, we're thinking about
automating the recording of all talk shows. so i want to set it up in a way
that allows for a given program to be recordied and saved automatically with
the name of the program and the date it took place. thus each day total
recorder will be expected to save like 'tony and dale show/01/08/06, and
incrementally each day. is this at all possible??
many thanks.

Oddly enough, Most people i know who have roxeo6 and winXP service pack2,
are complaining about this issue. I really Don't, in my layman's view, think
it has anything to do with nero or any other burning program for that
matter!

but there's a strange happening in winamp5.24. and that is, that when you
choose open file or add files to playlist, .wav is not available when you
have all supported types chosen under 'files of type. ya have to choose 'all

.aac Plus, at 128kbps, provides the best trade off I have yet found between
sound quality and files size. At least for me, it definitely passes the
"what did I do with the jewel case" test, and its files are smaller than
either M4A or OGG.

Re: Winamp Version 5.24 is now Available

2006-06-22 Thread Home Sweet Home
something about the new winamp as of 5.23 annoys me terribly!
and that is that .wav filetype doesn't appear when all supported files is
selected as "files of type. one now has to choose select 'all files for wave
files to show! and even so, the next time you add a file or open one, that
'aall files; option doesn't stick! I use winamp on the air sometimes and
this annoying problem has resulted in two too many crashes. can this be
fixed? ior is .wav no longer a winamp supported file? I must hasten to add,
that wave does appear among the filetypes in winamp preferences.
