Let me know what happens

Hi there BRANDON!
Have you tried loading the drivers that came with the modem or did
you get drivers 3with your modem. Generally when XP doesn't
recognize the modem this would lead me to believe that I must load
them from a CD or other mnedia. Another thing you might try is to
unplug the device then turn off you computer then plug it back in and
see if XP will auto detect it. As I stated though, you may have to
manually enter the drivers from some other media. Hope this helps..!
Let me know! GOOD LUCK!

Hello there Hank!
Not to certain of which screenreader you might be
running, but in WE I simply go to the channel lineup and do a search
for the channel which I am looking for. I use the search in the
screenreader. There might be another / easier way but I am not aware
of it. Hope this helps..!

speech friendly DVD programs

Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good speech friendly
program for listening to/viewing DVDs? I am certain there are but
never having used anything such as this I don't know of what might
work or not work. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. I am running Window-Eyes5.5 although I hope to upgrade to 6.0 shortly.

2007-01-27 Thread Jim Wohlgamuth
Hi There GROUP!
Was wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to obtain a copy
of Windows Media Player 10. I prefer this since this version is what
I am use to as well as the fact that it doesn't seem to have as much
excess bagage with it. It seems as though the simpler they make
things, the more complicated they seem to get..? If anyone knows
where I might obtain a version of WMP10 I would be extremely greatful!

Re: Debating on whether to get XM, some info needed

2006-04-27 Thread Jim Wohlgamuth
Hi there Kevin!
I have had XM for quite some time now, and experience very little
trouble with it. Occasionally the signal will fade out for short
periods of time, but I have for the most part had good luck with
it. I am on the second floor which probably helps-they say though
that you should have an east or south facing window for best
performance although my north and west windows serve me
adequately. I have never had any other satilite service so cannot
honestly comment on it. I have a sky box and find it very easy to
use either from the buttons on the front of the unit or using the remote.
Good LUCK..!

RE: problem copying urrl

2006-04-07 Thread Jim Wohlgamuth
 Hello there Group!
I am running WE5.5 and all I have to do is place the cursor at either
the beginning or end of the URL in question and hold down the shift
and run the arrow over text to be highlighted and then CTRL-c to copy
it to the clipboard and then I open my browser and the open url
window then ctrl-v to paste and it works just fine for me. The only
thing I might suggest is that perhaps the url may be broken into
multiple lines in which case you will have to paste the url in to a
notepad document and place the URL onto a single line. Hope this helps..!
