Winamp Equalizer

2007-03-05 Thread Michael S. Goren
Hi group,

I was wondering how one can turn on and off the presets? I know how
to go to the equalizer, and know how to load the presets, but there
is a key which turns them on or off, and I cannot remember what it
is. I am using winamp version 3.33 thanks
Michael

Re: Winamp Equalizer

2007-03-05 Thread Michael S. Goren
No, that turns on and off the equalizer, I want the key which allows
the loading of presets or not. It is the key which makes the key
active. When the equalizer is not active, you can still move to it with altg.
Thanks,
Michael

Help with Winamp 5.34

2007-04-24 Thread Michael S. Goren
Hi list,

I have several systems here. The only system I have attempted the
install so far is the 98 system.

Every time I run Winamp ver 5.34, i get an ilegal operation. Then,
i can sometimes open and use it.
Can anyone tell me what I can do to fix this problem.
Thanks,
Michael Goren

Re: Member Has Been Banned From The PC-Audio List

2007-01-13 Thread Michael S. Goren
I agree, but making a public announcement was foolish and
unnecessary.Well said, Joy. Gangstress of love indeed. I'd like to
add that Tom has run
this list in his short time as moderator with civility, grace and
intelligence. I sympathize with listers who don't want to read another
message off-topic like this, but considering some of the criticism received,
I feel it's important to lend support to someone doing a task calling for
many sensitive judgments with the skill and care Tom has shown.

Wait just a minute. Wile I'll agree that the once off S bomb is nothing to
be upset over, I did see some of Lin's messages where he got on people's
cases for maybe not taking the time to read the whole page, this that and
the other, like everyone has to be as intuitive as he. One of the people who
protested the bann said he thought this list was to help people. In Lin's
case, he was being somewhat helpful, but in a way that can be a bit
offputting, especially for those people who may not be as literate in some
forms of computing as other forms. How would you feel if you had a question
and you asked, and someone came at you with an answer like, "RTFM!" Some
manuals are as off-putting as some people's additude that everyone should be
as smart as the writer who wrote the mannual.

Think about that!

2006-03-04 Thread Michael S. Goren
Hi Nick,

That isn't quite what I am looking for. When I tried AltG, I left
the equalizer window, I what the key that turns on or off the ability
to play the presets, so that when you go through the different
presets, you can hear the difference.
Thanks
