Re: removing crackle when converting vinyl recordings

2004-08-17 Thread Mick
Hi. This isn't an answer to your question but another question instead.
How do you record an album to cd? I mean how do you connect the record
player to the pc?

Hi. I've always used Goldwav to eliminate pops and clicks from albums when
transfering them to CD. However now I've run into a couple of albums that
contain a good deal of crackle. I can't seem to eliminate with Goldwav,
Sound Forge and Adobe Audition are out of my budget, and anything in the
shareware range that claims to eliminate crackle seems to be inaccessible.
Any ideas?
Larry

Re: Burning .wav and .mp3

In Nero select 'audio cd' and Nero will convert them to the appropriate
format no matter what format they are in originally

Morning all,
When burning a CD to be played in a everyday CD player, can I burn .wav
and.mp3 files together in an audio disc using Nero, or must they be all of
one type?
Thanks,
Morey

Re: Media Jukebox

If you want media player to run your mp3's then the easiest thing to do
is just reinstall wmp.

doc;
I'm running windows 98 and can't figure out how to reassign the program to
run an mp3 file. I know I've seen a dialog box to select a program to
execute file types when I have clicked on a file that did not what program
to run to open it. So, it's here some where, I just can't seem to find it.
