Hey, gang! Is it possible to move stuff around in the playlist editor if
you don't like the order the tracks are being played in? Or do I have to
start from scratch? The way I have been building playlists is to find a
file, use the applications menu, and just enqueue everything there and save
the resulting playlist. But I can't find a way to move those items around
if I don't like the order.

My other question is about a cheap USB soundcard for my Asus so I can run
JAWS through it. I know this was brought up recently but I deleted a lot of
emails and I don't know how to get into the Pc-audio archives and I don't
remember the password to use. Hmmm . . . could someone let me know? I saw
an ad about a Turtle Island tiny sound card but have no idea how useful it
would be. I appreciate your help!

 Peace,
 Kathy

Let us know if that worked for you by using Nero to make a data DVD from
those .avi files you have and then using your home DVD player to play them
back. I sure didn't know this was possible to make them play on home DVD
player. Usually you have to convert the .avi files to DVD using a converter
program. Why are you using a DVD RW disc? You should only use a DVD -R or +R
blank disc. Most players now support both disc types but check your manual
 to be sure of this.

If you have Replay AV 8 latest version you get Replay Converter application
which will do the .avi conversion to DVD NTSC (USA, Canada and some other
countries). I know the program is accessible because I use it and am a beta
tester for them. I use JAWS 10. These .avi files how did you obtain them?
 From a camera?

You can also do DVD PAL format disc for playback in most other countries
 with Replay Converter.

Applian makes Replay AV which comes bundled with Replay Converter. They have
30 day money back guarantee if it doesn't work for you the video conversions
 to DVD disc.

I have done .avi file conversions to DVD disc myself in the past. These .avi
files were from a digital camera that records in .avi format.

Mundu Radio is a great application for Symbian phones which is
account-based. You create an account, and then add streams that you want to

choose the station. Note: you need to choose 'Update Playlist' in the Radio
app to make sure the streams you have added show up, but once you've done
that, it works great! It even remembers what was the most recent station you
listened to when you login, along with I think around 5 recent stations in a
 separate window.

 Hello list,
for any one interested, I put a list of Christmas and Holiday stations
that work with Mundu Radio below my message.
I have tested all of them and only one isn't working at this time. It
may be that the stream is temporarily unavailable.
I put a star/asterisc before the station to identify it.

I set up each line for ease of copying the station name and URL to the
clipboard to make things a bit less teadious.

 Enjoy!

some of Code Factory's other applications, this one isn't tied to Mobile

I found a bug where it was having issues with NFB Newsline content, and they
confirmed it saying that it'd be fixed in the next release. That may well be
 on their site already.

Again an advantage of this approach is that if you receive Newsline content
by e-mail for example, you can use the e-mail client on the phone to
download it, and read the content all on the go. Very cool for picking up
 daily newspapers.

 Best of luck.

Hi Ken, my personal view is that you need to look at music in the context of
what else you might like to do on the go. For example, if you use a cell
phone or might like to, then getting an accessible cell phone with a good
music player, such as those from Nokia, might be the best option. The Victor
Reader Stream will play NLS books, which in North America is certainly a
factor, however other than this, I see no point in it at all. It is another
device to carry around. The Stream sells fairly well in North America, where
the smart phone culture is not well established. But on the Nokia N82 I
have, not only can I read print on the go with the KNFB Reader mobile, but I
can also play DAISY books, work with MP3 files in a very accessible and
flexible way, listen to Audible content and download podcasts right from the
phone. So there is no need to carry another device around with me that
 duplicates those functions.

If you don't want an accessible cell phone, then there are many portable
music playback options. The Stream is certainly worth considering and that

You do need to connect the Nano to iTunes to configure it, but once
those recordings are transferred to your nano, you don't need to be

The Stream is certainly worth considering and that
will also read DAISY and regular texts. You might even look at an iPod
Shuffle which is very easy to operate and small. This will play music and
Audible books, but not DAISY. There are many more, the Zenstone seems quite

 Freaking lol man!

I guess my n95-3G is of no use to me then right?

 Trust me folks,
Symbian offers so much to blind users but, any applications other then
talks, Moble Speak or the out ragiously priced KNFB reader, are not designed
with the blind user in mind. However, The Victor reader Stream is a fully
featured packed unit that is blind friendly! !
And, at a price point that blows away any smart phone and Screen reader
combination. Investigate battery life for example. Or look at book marking
and navigation features! Once you do, you will know that the smart phone
 isn't there yet!

Like mr. Mossen, I have em all! Every last one of them! some of which you
likely don't even know of! And what player do I pull out of the night stand
 at bed time?

No, it's not my smart phone! No, it's not my Pakcmate Omni! No, it's not
my Maestro! No, its not my ZennStone! An no, it's not my beloved Rockbox!
Which, I might ad, is a very close second choice as I have had all the
target players and, was involved in the beginning. Some may no me as
rocker! The inspiration behind the Voice UI!

Actually; the unit I'm pulling out every night to enjoy my digital content
is indeed the Humanware Victor Stream!

It really does boast a wide array of features. Everthing you want from a
book reader and a music player!
AT $300 US you absolutley can't beat it.
It doesn't feel as slick as a smart pone but it will take more pounding for
 sure!

More over, it won't lock up and cause you to lose your place like the other
 gagets.

So, Perhaps it's time you Europians took a second look cuzz you must be a
little late in jumping on the Stream culture!
 LOL!

 Rock on...rocker!

MP3 stream to sound about as good as a stream double its bitrate. there is
a couple of different MP3Pro encoders that can be lugged into Winamp. I
chose one with no bugs or reported problems and my Live365 streams sound
great. I get all the control and flexibility with Winamp with all the

When I tabbed in the from the combo edit box, there was a custom control
  and
two unlabeled picture links. What are these?

with jaws if it is not focusing on the combo box, which is what it does
  for
me, use the jaws cursor to click one of the items in the box. Hopefully
  this
should bring you to the main screen. then when you tab the first box is
  the
edit field, which becomes a list box as you make more searches. the
  next
tab would be the search button then the library button. You should also
  be
able to see the library button with the jaws cursor on the left side of
  the
  screen.

Doc, I think I'm missing something. Not for the first time, but I'd
  like
  to
get this figured out if I can. When I open Napster, using Jaws, if I
  tab
once, I get the combo box with artist, title and so on. If I tab again
  I'm
taken to the Napster home page where they push featured downloads and
recommend artists. I'm not seeing any buttons. When tabbing with
  Window-eyes
I get the artist/title box, and then with the next tab I hear list
  box.
  It
is, at this point, an undefined list box. Any idea what I'm doing
  wrong?
  I
can follow directions with your screen reader of choice.

Hello, I am just getting to grips with Napster light with Window-Eyes
using the mouse curser. I have a question. How do you get to the
  library?
The reason I ask is because it says I need to go to it to check the
  download status of a track.
