Re: lissoning to the radio on the net
I think whatever you're doing online its a good idea to install anti-virus software and a program like spybot to ward off invaders and hackers. Having said that I'm fairly sure you won't get infected with a virus or find you've got dangerous spyware on your system after listening to a stream. About the setfiles for Winamp, I haven't used them but assuming they perform the same function as the scripts for Jaws, I'd recommend them because the make the interface a lot more user-friendly. - Original Message - From: "David R. Re: lissoning to the radio on the net
You need a software player like RealPlayer, Winamp or WindowsMedia all available to download at www.acbradio.org. Two good sites with thousands of stations worldwide are mikesradioworld.com and radio-locator.com. Once you've got a player installed you should be off and running. - Original Message - From: "andrew shipp" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: what is a .wsx file?
For future reference www.whatis.com could be useful. It tells you what file extensions mean, good for obscure ones! - Original Message - From: "BILL K." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Where does TotalRecorder save recordings?
I've just used the schedule in TotalRecorder to record some audio from the net but can't find where its been saved. I haven't changed the default settings and assumed it would be saved in a directory in ProgramFiles but I can't find anything there. I searched my hard drive for it too and can't find it but I think it did record. Could someone tell me where the default directory is for files saved by TotalRecorder?cheers ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
