windows media info

2004-05-09 Thread John Stott
Hello to you all
I am running windows 98 on this computer
And a few weeks ago I went to have a look at the new VIP on air
Now I use winamp but you have to use media player on this site
But I had never updated on this computer and found out I needed to get a
update to get on the site
I got a message to say 7.1 was the highest I could go for windows 98 so I
excepted
And all went well and everything was working fine
Then a few days later I got a message I had a update for media player
So I excepted it and the down load became a four hour job
When the down load was completed I found out I now had media player 9.0 and
it works fine anyone know what's going on
As I have been told 9.0 will not work with windows 98
