.MP4 - how to play?
Hi to the list! I'm using Windows XP Pro and JAWS 7. What are people using these days to play .MP4 files? Thanks. .MP4 - How to play
I have Windows Media Player 10 installed. I want to play MP4 files. In Media Player, I went to View, Plug-ins, Download plug-ins and ended up on a "Plug-ins for Windows Media Player" web site where I found DivX Version: 6.2.2. I downloaded and installed it. On the web site, it says that after you download and install a plug-in, you should be able to see it under View in Media Player. I don't see it and I still can't play my MP4 file. Did I install the right thing? Any suggestions? I mean other than "Use WinAmp". Thanks. RE: .MP4 - how to play?
The MP4 file format contains the media information of an MPEG-4 presentation in a flexible, extensible format which facilitates interchange, management, editing, streaming and presentation of the media. This presentation may be local to the system containing the presentation or via other stream delivery mechanism (a TransMux) while the file format is independent of any particular TransMux. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Donald Goosens Sent: 2006/05/08 10:45 To: 'PC audio discussion list. Re: .MP4 - How to play
hi the DIVX plugin is most likely the wrong one. i'm not really sure which plugin will work for wmp. it's garbage and i don't use it. if you insist on using it, however, google something like "mp4" +"media player 10" and see what comes up for plugins, or if it's even possible to play these files in wmp. if not, you'll have to convert it. brandon - Original Message - From: "Reed Poynter" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'PC audio discussion list.
