ok! Came across a truly weird problem last night when attempting to listen to the FSU Clemson game via WHOO, ESPN1080, Orlando. The stream, on my desktop, launches as it is going to play, and running times are shown, but no audio is heard. Went to the notebook, and no problems. I found similar behavior on the wmp streams for NFL Field Pass Audio. This behavior on my desktop is whether the stream is played via WMP, RealPlayer, or Winamp. Other streams work fine with normal audio output. These same streams that won't play won't also play or record on my desktop using RePlay AV. What possibly could be causing this weirdness on .asx streams while all other stream types play and record normally? Am truly stumped. As noted before, my notebook pc verifies that the streams are up and running.
