Yah hi Trace, you can either right click on the url and save target as, or use the save functions in ie. I should have thought of that. Re: Audacity or GW
Hi John, you can just save the guide to disk. There are a couple of ways of doing this. First, you can open the context menu of the following link and choose save target as (or the equivalent for your browser): http://goo.gl/bZIXh Alternatively, if you have the guide open in a browser, you can choose save as from the file menu. In the save dialog, set the save as type combo box to web page, html only. John: A little tip for you. Purchase Sonar X2 and then request a copy of 8.5 from Cakewalk because of accessibility issues. Cakewalk is usually willing to do this. That shoud cut down your cost. Cheers. -Original Message- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of John Chilelli Sent: Wednesday, May 29, 2013 6:08 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Audacity or GW Hi all, I eventually will be getting a copy of Sonar 8.5. But between that upgrade and the Jaws scripts for it will cost me a wopping $700.00 which I don't currently have. Which one of these Digital audio editing software packages should I start investing time into learning. I also must choose to either upgrade to WE 8.x or I can also use Jaws 13. Audacity is free and allows for multitracking with control over individual tracks. It also has more extensive effects and better noise reduction than Goldwave, but it is more complex than Goldwave and takes longer to master. Goldwave has a reasonable price, but cannot multitrack.
