Hi.

I think that MLB TV blacks out the games until they're archived. Gameday
Audio doesn't.

I thought the rules on mlb.com said that the playoffs were blacked out until

the game becomes archived after it's over. I'm not sure though, but that
doesn't make much sense.

Yes, there are all sorts of restrictions related to MLB TV in the post
season including where one happens to be located at the timme of the
internet connection.
GGgameday auio isss live as always. That's where the confusion came
in as it only applies to mlb tv.

Marcia, if you have XM, they broadcast the games with Pat and Ron describing
the action on the home games. If you have a station in your area that is an
ESPN affiliate most of them cover the playoffs. I'm not sure if ESPN.com
streams the games, but it's worth a look.

This is now very much a mixed bag. Yahoo College
Sports continues to offer its subscription package though the number of
schools included is diminishing.
Also part of the package are a number of schools offering their feeds for
free on the Yahoo website.
Schools that are free include Florida, Tennessee,
TCU, Texas, Richmond, Arizona, Middle Tennessee,
North Carolina State, and Kentucky.

To see a 7-day schedule, visit
http://sports.yahoo.com/top/collegebroadcast

CSTV also continues to also offer a subscription package which, at the
moment, I am not all that familiar with.
A number of teams stream via over-the-air stations. Examples that
immediately come to mind are Michigan State wvia WJR Detroit;
Miami via WQAM Miami; Florida State via WBOB Jacksonville; Florida via a
number of stations including WWJB Brooksville and WFXJ Jacksonville;
northwestern via WGN Chicago, and so on.

Hope others can expand on this answer and if you, Dean, get a number of
replies perhaps you can summarize your findings via a post here and in a
Top Tech Tidbits item.

I get the Iowa Hawkeyes via cstv for $50 per year. This includes any
sports broadcasted on their radio network.

That's interesting about Iowa. Iowa is also a part of the Yahoo
subscription package though I suspect that the CSTV one you have likely
covers more sports particularly the so-called minor ones.

John I was afraid that someone would ask that question smile!!

Looking at the Yahoo College Sports website, I don't see a quick answer to
that.
I've not subscribed
for several years so I have no current idea as to what the monthly rate
is.

College sports via Internet radio?

I recently got a question about the current state of finding US
college football and basketball games on the Internet. Can people
