RE: DFX audio enhancer
thanks for that enlightenment. I probably won't take a peak, because I'm using JFW 6.2, which is roughly 3 years old now and newer apps probably won't work too well. I do however wish I could send over my enhancements to my MP3 player when syncing files, such as the SRS WOW sound enhancer and cross fading...Best Regards, Cornell> From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org> Subject: Re: DFX audio enhancer> Date: Thu, 10 Jan 2008 13:21:21 +1100> > To read about DFX audio enhancer and other products developed by the > same company go to www.fxsound.com. the DFX Audio enhancer family of > products aim to improve the quality of audio played through sound cards. > Unfortunately the developers have chosen to make their products visually > appealing with a lot of "eye candy" and non-standard Windows controls > with the result being that most of their software is very inaccessible.> > Regards Steve.> > From: Cornell Ligon [EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org> > can you offer more to what the program does? improve sound or convert > formats?> > Regards Steve> Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]> Windows Live Messenger: [EMAIL PROTECTED]> Skype: steve1963 > > > Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... > http://www.pc-audio.org> > To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: DFX audio enhancer
To read about DFX audio enhancer and other products developed by the same company go to www.fxsound.com. the DFX Audio enhancer family of products aim to improve the quality of audio played through sound cards. Unfortunately the developers have chosen to make their products visually appealing with a lot of "eye candy" and non-standard Windows controls with the result being that most of their software is very inaccessible. RE: DFX audio enhancer
can you offer more to what the program does? improve sound or convert formats? for sound quality, you may want to tinker with SRS WOW effects in WMP 11. It takes some getting use to, but it's a nice tool to improve bass response and tweek surround sound effects. It comes up under enhanced settings, such as equalizer, cross fading and etc. Best Regards, Cornell > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org > Subject: Re: DFX audio enhancer > Date: Wed, 9 Jan 2008 18:58:53 -0500 > > High David, > Yes I have. > I've used it in and with Windows Media Player 10. > At the time, I was running Jaws 8. > I didn't have any accessibility problems with it. > But I did have 1 problem with it though. > Whenever I closed Windows Media Player, that DFX audio enhancer wouldn't > close > with it. > It became more and more a pain in the but for me, so I uninstalled it and > used Windows Media Player as is. > I haven't tried this thing in Winamp yet, but I will when I get time off. > John. > - Original Message - > From: "David Reynolds" > To: "PC Audio Discussion List" > Sent: Wednesday, January 09, 2008 2:31 PM > Subject: DFX audio enhancer > > >> I'm trying this out in winamp and wmp. Re: DFX audio enhancer
High David, Yes I have. I've used it in and with Windows Media Player 10. At the time, I was running Jaws 8. I didn't have any accessibility problems with it. But I did have 1 problem with it though. Whenever I closed Windows Media Player, that DFX audio enhancer wouldn't close with it. It became more and more a pain in the but for me, so I uninstalled it and used Windows Media Player as is. I haven't tried this thing in Winamp yet, but I will when I get time off. Oh, the default settings are so so, but it seems to add reverb to the sound. You can tell this if you play something that is only talk through it like when a stream plays a few commercials. - Original Message - From: "Barry" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: DFX
Hi, I have used DFX in the past. There aren't any scripts. The way I got around it was to get a sighted person to identify the precise co-ordinates of the buttons I wanted. I then wrote a script to click the particular co-ordinate. I haven't got the files on this computer, but I'm happy to send them to you if I can find them. Cheers, Barry. - Original Message - From: "Ketan Kothari" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list.
