External Volume Control Not Working on Speakers
I'm no electronic expert here. I have a pair of speakers hooked up to my computer. There's a volume control on the front. Today, for no readily explained reason, the volume control on these speakers just stopped working, and I get a constant volume of what I'd call comfortable for normal listening. Is this problem likely as permanent as it sounds? Is there possible a small set-screw on the volume knob that you didn't feel? That could be one cause of the problem. Ron ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Ah, I think I know what you mean. The screw that holds the volume knob onto the speaker? But if that were loose, the volume knob would just spin and spin without stopping at the left and right, wouldn't it? Or am I misunderstanding you? No, it's as tight as it was before. And I just noticed the tone control doesn't work any more either.
