Select all the files that you want, by pressing (ctrl A), (ctrl C) to copy
to clip board, go to you hard drive, press (ctrl V), and you should be OK.

OK folks! This is a Windows issue and has nothing to do with
audio. Please do not post anymore comments on this subject.

Thank you.

No! It's a Windows function and should be discussed on a
list dedicated to Windows issues. This is an audio list. I
don't know why that's so difficult to understand.

Moving Files.

2009-07-02 Thread Anita
Hi List,
How is the easiest way to move .WMA, MP3S, and Ogg Vorbous from my laptop
to my external drive? Do the ways change from laptop and desktop?
Thanks,
Anita

RE: Moving Files.

2009-07-02 Thread Dave
Well the quick and dirty way is to copy and paste. Just highlight the file
or files, hit controlC then highlight the drive or directory where you want
the files to go and hit control v. Personally, I suggest copying rather
than using the move command because then if something breaks you still
have the original files.
