Yes, that's true.  If you burn a data disc using nero it will treat every
file type equally and burn it to disc.  However, if you wish to burn an
audio CD from WMA files, you need a plug in for nero to do this in one step.

Nero and wma

I've seen a message where a person is having problems burning wma discs with 
Nero.  If you burn a data disc, won't Nero treat these wma files like any 
other file?
