Re: Sirius Stiletto 10 Satellite Radio
The repeaters are just stations that relay the signal for people who would otherwise not get good satellite coverage. I think the receivers prefer those if they can and if the signal is stronger than from the satellite. - Original Message - From: "Cornell Ligon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Sent: Thursday, May 03, 2007 9:08 PM Subject: Re: Sirius Stiletto 10 Satellite Radio > Tom, > Thanks for the useful information. Re: Sirius Stiletto 10 Satellite Radio
Tom, Thanks for the useful information. I must ask, what is a 'FM Repeater'? I think Sirius's site had this model for $100 off. Does anyone know if the Strtus has audible feedback? I think that is the portable model. I currently get Sirius music channels via dishNetwork Satellite system, but I'm a talk radio junky and miss Stern in the mornings... Re: Sirius Stiletto 10 Satellite Radio
What Fcc rules? To have a reggiler am or fm radio transmiter, it requiers you to have an Fcc licence to use them to brodcast. Satellite radio isn't govirened by FCC rules and reggilations. But if you ask me, XM has some katching up to do consurning the blind. - Original Message - From: "Brent Harding" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: Sirius Stiletto 10 Satellite Radio
I heard that on the satellite radio for the blind list, forget the info to subscribe, there was a message that was going around about trying to get XM to make something accessible. I don't know what is going with that. I sort of wonder if this merger will ever go through, if there really are many repeaters that violate FCC rules? - Original Message - From: "Tim Emmons" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'PC audio discussion list.
