RE: album wrap
HI Julie, Album Wrap extractor is indeed an option for splitting albums with ALBW in the title. You can get it from the following location:http://www.whitestick.co.uk/progs/album-wrap-extractor.zip However, you can use MP3 direct cut, which to my mind, is much more flexible. If you'd like it, contact me, and I'd be more than happy to send it along. Subject: album wrap Hi, all. I know this has been mentioned before. What program can you use to separate the songs in an Album wrap album? Where can you find this program, and where can you find album wrap? Thanks in advance. Re: Album Wrap
Sounds like it is something like a MP3 zip file. A zip file with a MP3 extension. I don't know how this is accomplished, but the archive, itself an mp3 can be played via Winamp or any other such mp3 playing software. The archive can be split up into its original components by using Album Wrap's companion program, Album Extractor, and these files also have their proper mp3 tags such that they'll show up properly named in Winamp. I can't remember the web site, but if you do a Google on Album Wrap, you'll soon be awash in possibilities of attaining this software, which I think sells for $15. The Extractor program is free, and yes, the Extractor program is accessible with Jfw 5 on Windows XP, and I bet it would work on whatever else you might be using.
