Re: A Winmx question
I didn't think winmx was usable any more. It used to be one of my favorite file sharing programs. - Original Message - From: "Barry Chapman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: A Winmx question
That is odd Barry. Once I enter on browse on the context menu, I can alt tab and the name of the user is in my alt tab sequence. For example I just did it and I have tommysandsangel8091. Now once I alt tab to the window, I do have to route Jaws to pc cursor and arrow down and left click in one of the songs in the list. The alt ctonrol F to get to the first item in a listview doesn't work. But I don't have to go back to the transfer window. Re: A Winmx question
Hi Debbie, Alt+tab only takes me to different applications. When using the JAWS scripts for WINMX, the only way I can get it to work with JAWS once the browse list has loaded is to go to the transfers window with ctrl+t, find the name of the user, with the JAWS cursor and left click on it. This will make the list of songs visible to JAWS. I then have to left click on one of the songs to bring the list into focus. I was hoping the JAWS scripts would have provided a keystroke for this, but it appears not. Hi Dan, after you enter on browse, you should be able to alt tab between the transfers window and the browse window for that user. hi Barry, if you select browse it will automatically put you in the browse window of that persons file list. I don't use jaws, but if you locate the first item in the list, use the pc cursor you should be able to arrow down the list that way. hth - Original Message - From: "Barry Chapman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC-Audio" Sent: Wednesday, June 14, 2006 11:47 AM Subject: A Winmx question > Using Winmx and the Winmx scripts for JAWS, I can get to the search window > with ctrl+s, the transfers window with ctrl+t and the network window with > ctrl+n, but if I browse someone else's files, is there a keystroke to get > to > the browse window?
