Re: GameDay Audio Question.

I'll have to check that out. I didn't even know there was a Gameday
Audio Premium. I wish they'd give us the same quality on the audio as they
give on the TV feeds. I know that quality because I was listening one
Friday night and they were having problems with the audio feeds so they put
the tv audio feeds in their place. Much harder to figure out what was
actually going on, but that audio quality was fabulous!

Hi Folks:

Is there an audio quality difference between GameDay Audio Premium and
GameDay Audio?

Thanks all over the place gang.

I'm wondering if there is any way of fast forwarding an archived MLB Audio
game. I've had archived games drop out completely, leaving me with the
choice of starting over or just forgetting about it. Anything else I can
 try?

2007-06-06 Thread Dean Martineau
My trick with archived major league games is to first record the
archive using total Recorder, though I suspect replay a/v would also
work. That gives me total control over the game. I do this
especially because I don't necessarily tend to listen to an entire
game, I'm just looking for part of it.

I have found that the best way to get to the game, for me anyway, is to go
to mlb.com, then login, hit ins-f7 and find the link for Gameday Audio, then
do Ins-f7 again and go to Multi-media guide. Then hit ins-f7 again and hit
W until you hear radio station call letters and arrow to the one you want to
hear. I have Media player 11, and after a lot of trial and error, I find
that that method works.

Try this. If you are using Replay AV8 then upgrade to the latest
 version.

The best way I have found is to go to the register log in page and
then to the multi-media guide page.

I do the exact opposite of John:

go to the multimedia page first:

select my feed:

then I am prompted for the logon info (which Roboform supplies)

click the logon

link
and pronto.

What's interesting here is that there are obviously varying approaches to
get the job done, and they
appear to work equally well for those using it.
And probably the reasons we choose the approach we do is based on what
each of us views as being the most convenient.

If there is enough need for messages on this topic you ought to start your own

You need to update your version of Replay Av 8 to the latest
version which is Replay AV 8.14. This I believe will fix your
problem with GameDay Audio. If you need the direct URL for the
Replay AV 8.14 file let me know. I am subscribed to this list in
 digest format.

There was a known issue where WMP 11 wouldn't playback streams
and Replay AV fixed this awhile back. It happened to me.

So update your Replay AV software. Install over the top of your
 existing version.

 Petro

Can replay access Gameday Audio? If so, how do I go about it? As for
versions, I have 8.07. I don't know if there's a newer version, but I'll
check.
