Re: Goldwave Questions and Migrating to Sound Forge
Samuel, 1. go to the view menu. arrow down to auto scroll-lock, if not checked check it by pressing enter. the shortcut is control-l. Now your arrow keys will move in acordance with the zoom ratio. You might want to set up what the playback keys do, press f11, and make changes in the first property sheet, play control. hope it is simple as this. Wouldn't change to sound forge, unless what you want it to do, it will do better than GW. or, of course you enjoy working with alternative audio editors. equally justifyable. I am using the latest version on a Windows 7 desktop with Window-Eyes 9.1. I can't get the left and right arrow keys to move as they should in a file, and also, when I am trying to preview a sound, nothing happens. Does anyone know why this might be? I am considering migrating to Sound Forge, but I was wondering if there are tutorials or anything out there to tell me how I can use this sound editor with a screen reader? Re: Goldwave Questions and Migrating to Sound Forge
Hello Joe, I got the arrows sorted out, but I just found the preview button is not there when I am in the open sound dialog. Is there a way to have it put back in? Re: Goldwave Questions and Migrating to Sound Forge
Samuel, I think the preview button is gone. I recall its existence in earlier versions, but not the latest. Might be worth writing to chris at Goldwave, in case there is a way of putting the button back. I've never used it, but knew it was there.
