Sorry to inform, but couldnÂ’t locate a dual male 3.5 mm connector to attach
two female endsÂ… tried five different sites I use for adaptors.

Hi, Cornell.  Oh, I can easily find a female to femal barrel connector;
Radioshack should have those in abundance. I was just trying to find, as
someone said, I can't remember who, two back-to-back males, thus eliminating
the need for the barrel connector. If you could find something like that,
that would be really cool. But I suspect what I want is just not all that
popular. But, if you see such somewhere, I'd be much obliged.

Peace, Kathy

 Hi Cathy,
I think I know where you may be
able to locate the connector, and I think it's still called a barrel
connector; only you want dual females, not dual males...
I'll give it a shot this weekend on a few sources I have.

 Hey, J J!
Yup, that's pretty much what I'm looking for. May have to get the barrel
connector though I'm just trying to get two devices to virtually snap
 together.

 Have a fun weekend!

Hi Kathy and all, it sounds like what you are looking for is the exact
opisit of a barrel connect, that is back to back male connectors,
rather

than female! I have seen them in quarter inch for connecting effects
peddles together, but never in one eighth inch like you are looking
for!

If this is the case, have someone solder a couple of 3.5 male plugs together
back

Well, I guess it's odd, as I can't seem to find such a creature.
All I'm trying to do is find something that would virtually snap two devices
together using a male stereo miniplug on both ends. I don't want a short
cable (got plenty of them), but just a piece of metal that would connect,
say, a bluetooth transmitter to an MP3 device. Is there such a thing?
Radio Shack, at least my local one, doesn't have one. Never thought this
would get so complicated! Can't so far find anything using Google!

Sorry if this is a little away from PC audio, but I'm not sure who to ask.

 Peace,
 Kathy

Are there any other stations like ACB Interactive that allow broadcasters
to log in and broadcast their shows from all over the world.

Besides ACB I am aware of

 www.worldwidebluegrass.com

which is exclusive to bluegrass shows. but thats only one genre that i
like. I wonder if their is a station that hosts various Americana and

Yeah, I know about the barrel couplers but was looking for something even
shorter. I suspect this thing doesn't exist. Most folks want a little give
betweeen devices. But I might try a manager. This sounds like one fo those
silly little things someone in some little shop might make somewhere and
sell on-line. Smile!

Thanks for the help!

Subject: Looking for an odd little adapter plug

Well, I guess it's odd, as I can't seem to find such a creature.
All I'm trying to do is find something that would virtually snap two
 devices
together using a male stereo miniplug on both ends.

Sorry if this is a little away from PC audio, but I'm not sure who to
 ask.

 Peace,
 Kathy

Are there any other stations like ACB Interactive that allow
 broadcasters
to log in and broadcast their shows from all over the world.

Besides ACB I am aware of

 www.worldwidebluegrass.com

which is exclusive to bluegrass shows. but thats only one genre that i
like. I wonder if their is a station that hosts various Americana and
 roots music?

Re: Looking for an odd little adapter plug

2007-03-14 Thread Gary G Schindler
when you find what you are looking for, let me know about it. I think you'll
probably have to have somebody make you one.

Yeah, I know about the barrel couplers but was looking for something even
shorter. I suspect this thing doesn't exist. Most folks want a little give
betweeen devices. But I might try a manager. This sounds like one fo those
silly little things someone in some little shop might make somewhere and
 sell on-line. Smile!

 Thanks for the help!

 Peace,
 Kathy

Kathy, It sounds like you want a barrel connector that you can
 by from
radio shack. it will couple two mini 3.5 stereo male plugs together.
