I haven't registered. Do I need to do that?

So I'm assuming you're going to http://www.ncaasports.com/mmod/welcome

Internet Explorer. Getting it to work with Firefox is a bit tricky.

On the above URL, you'll see the following:

March Madness On Demand
to launch the video player and begin watching live games!

You need to click on the link Click here.

On the next page, you'll get a series of tables, one for each game that
day. You need to click on the text graphic Watch Now!. I use a right
mouse click with JFW. You may be able to hit enter on it, but it doesn't
show up as a link or any other kind of object you can click on.

I think this is pulling the video as well as the audio. I don't know if
you can get just the audio stream or not. I haven't spent that much time
messing with it. This thing called work keeps getting in the way! I'm
sure others smarter than me have figured out easier ways to get at this.

Paul Hudson gave very clear instructions; I am very impressed, since I can
usually figure these things out and I couldn't solve this one, but he did.
You don't need to register and the audio quality is good.

great directions.

main Westwood One/ncaa network feed. This feed features a main game with
bonus coverage of other games going on.
So if you want a total overview of the tourney rather than just a specific
game, here are a couple of stations that are doing more or less blanket
coverage that I have discovered. There are undoubtedly others streaming.

I'm not positive, but I would think so. You could always try it and see
what happens. It'll either work or it'll ask you to sign up / register.
I can't test it myself, since I am registered. I know it doesn't cost
you anything to register. BTW, they use the same registration as a
handful of other sites, such as CBSSportsLine.com.

Re: NCAA basketball game audio?

2008-03-21 Thread Paul Hutson
Well, first of all you must hit enter on the link that says launch the
video player. Then after that when the next page comes up then you arrow
down or tab until you hear video and then arrow down once more you should
then hear audio. Press enter on the audio. You will be on the same page
so you will not need to wait for any next page. Then you can arrow down
through the games and when you find the one you want you arrow down to a
graphic that says graphic, watch now then press enter. Even though the
graphic is not marked as a button or a link you hit enter on that graphic
and within roughly 30 seconds, you should hear the Westwood one feed of that
game you want.
