Re: Portable CD/MP3 Player Help & Recommendations Please

2004-07-30 Thread Matthew Bullis
Hello, I don't know what kind of features you're looking for, or how much
you're willing to spend, but the RioVolt SP250 is still around as used
units. It's not being made officially anymore, but EBay and Amazon have
plenty of them. Hear my audio review on it from Main Menu at
www.ACBRadio.org
then go to on demand, then main menu, and search down the page for my name.
Click on the show date, and use the B key in Winamp to skip segments.
Thanks a lot.
Matthew

2004-07-30 Thread Michael Lang
I'd get an iRiver IMP-700T. It has a radio and a lot of its functions
can be used without having to go into its menu system. iRiver has
announced, that the next firmware version for the 700T will support OGG
Vorbis.

I'm not quite sure, whether this relatively new iRiver player is
available in the U. S. Yet. When I search for it on google.com, I only
get sites from other countries.
