Yes, a lot of truth in that and Youtube have enabled me to track down a whole heap of original stuff. Another "Must Have" particuarly if you're digitising your record collection is iTunes match. That in itself is a most interesting statement given my friend is older than I am and likes tracks from the 60s, 70s and 80s so does Spotify have more of those than does Apple music or what? Right now I'm listening to the "Soft Rock" playlist on Spotify through a Spotify connect device, the Sangean WRF28D portable radio. Connecting the device wasn't hard to do, I just selected Spotify from the Source list for the radio using the Undok App, I then opened the Spotify App from Undok and used the Connect icon at the bottom of the screen to locate the radio, the music started playing through it when I double-tapped the "Play" icon. ** Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind. ** Those of a positive and enquiring frame of mind will leave the rest of the halfwits in this world behind.

Bit rate you mean? Yep that would be about right possibly more, I don't remember what the maximum bit rate for free Spotify users was, never had a free spotify account myself but I think the bit rate was 64K and you couldn't keep your library offline. Yes point taken as the Spotify App for Windows - as far as I know - isn't accessible. I don't like having to sit at my computer listening to radio , given that I didn't take the accessibility of the Windows nor the Mac App into account. I've not tried the Android App as yet but it would appear that plenty of work has gone into the IOS App which I used but even then, using Spotify on IOS wasn't really the goal of the exercise for me. I have quite a few "Spotify Connect" devices and it was those I wanted to get going, one can control Spotify from such devices which include many of the Sangean Internet radios available today, Sonos as you've mentioned, Bose Soundtouch series and so on. Many of the AVR Receivers available now also have Spotify Connect built-in.
